The opposite of a Republican is a Democrat, not a lib. I think both can do a good job. I liked both Roosevelt presidents and they were from the left and right. I think people forget that each politician is individual and they should not generalize. Generalization leads to ignorance on issues. A history book and a current newspaper would help you make a better decision, rather than saying "all" should be this or that. Plus if we had the same rather it was dem or rep, over and over again without balance a dictatorship would ensue. Too much power on one side is bad.

I must say I agree with most of the republicans that were in office. But I think that if all of the presidents were republicans, there would be a small amount of change in the country, unless an elected president has a specific plan in mind. the point of making mistakes is to realize what was done wrong and to learn from them, and I personally feel that if there isn't a change in the thought process of our government, we'll just make mistakes over and over again without learning from them.

You may have heard the term RINO (Republican in Name Only). I submit there are also DINOs (Democrats in Name Only). I don't care about the party label as much as the policies the candidate supports. I prefer Conservatives to Liberals.
BTW, are you trying to provoke people? There is no other reason for questions like this.

No. I think all Presidents should be someone who keeps their promises and protects the people of this country's lives, jobs, and freedoms. Regardless of what their political party may be. I am not partial to any party. From what I have seen so far I am not impressed with either side.

No. What you think isn't what most Americans think. You are wrong. Incorrect. Misinformed.

To a point yes. Republicans stand more for what this country's fathers envisioned, while the dems are more for a socialistic country. But again it is a free country.

I think that Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Scalia, Kennedy, Thomas, and Alito will do their darnedest to try and see that it happens that way.
