NO more wasting time on nonsense. He's a lame-duck president that will either make a change for the better or do nothing of consequence with his remaining 2 years.

I am a Republican, and I've met with Bush a couple of times, in fact I have a picture of us together framed over my fireplace (why my house has a fireplace when I live in Florida; i don't know).
That being said, I think that his handeling of the war in Iraq does warrent serious discussion about impeachment. I've argued time in and time out that the war in Iraq was both neccessary and just (there is a difference between the two). Saddam was the only world leader to publically praise the 9-11 attacks, the only world leader who allowed terrorists to come into his country after 9-11 when every other nation was kicking them out, the only country who allowed a terrorist organization (ansar al-islam) to operate as an unofficial arm of the central government in Baghdad, allowed Abu-Musab Al- Zarqawi to wage his Islamic Jihad against Saddam Husseins kurdish enemies in north Iraq, and gave 25,000 dollars to the families of suicide bombers in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
This, coupled with the fact that every credible intelligence agency believed beyond the shadow of a doubt that Iraq possessed stockpiles of Chemical and Biological weapons, and the only intelligence that suggested that he didn't came from a report by David Kay, the majority of which came from factually unsubstaniated claims by a former Iraqi nuclear scientist. George Bush would have been criminally negligent to trust U.S. national security with this single scientist when there was an overwhelming amount of verified intelligence that suggested otherwise.
BUT, the war is a story of complete mismanagement, not just from Bush and Rumsfeld but a lot of the upper ranks in the military.
At the end of the day I think its far more important for the Democrats and Republicans come together and fix Iraq that make impeachment of Bush the focal point of the congresses doing, simply put; the nation needs to heal, and impeachment talks will just kill the country, I don't think we can handle it.

School Bus Driver Fired After Giving President Bush The Finger
November 2, 2006 10:49 p.m. EST
Russell McSpadden - All Headline News News Writer
Seattle, WA (AHN) - A school bus driver, whose name has not been released, was fired for allegedly flipping her middle finger at President Bush's motorcade with students aboard last June. This week, according to an AP report, the woman filed a union grievance to get her job back.
The 43-year-old bus driver was bringing students home from a field trip to a local zoo when a motorcade carrying President Bush and Republican Dave Reichert overtook them.
Students extended their arms from the windows to wave at the presidential motorcade. According to reports, Bush and Reichert waved back.
But the driver to the school bus extended an less than hospitable middle finger at the passing entourage, said Reichert and Issaquah superintendent Janet Barry who learned of the event after the driver allegedly boasted about the encounter and the finger incident to colleagues.
According to Reichert spokesperson Kimberly Cadena, "The congressman hadn't seen it, but the President turned to him and said, 'That one's not a fan.'"

There's a lot of people that are not Bush fans.
Impeach?
Don't know how long that would take.
Would he be a lame duck by the time the proceedings were up and running, conducted and concluded?
Might distract from more important issues that need to be attended to.
it would be a distraction.
Another distraction.

Based upon what? The last president lied to a grand jury (federal crime) and repeated it on national television. The congress chose to not hold him to the law. He also had 750 private FBI files on members of congress and others they considered enemies. These were found in a box in their private quarters in the White House. This is HIGHLY illegal and immoral to every degree. Since the press said nothing, neither did anyone else. He was never even questioned regarding this one.
It was determined during the last adminstration that even felonies that are witnessed nationwide are not worthy of challenge, much less impeachment. There is no longer a basis for impeaching a President for breaking federal law. Therefore, you couldn't impeach George Bush even if he ever does break any laws.

Your Kidding right? Do you mean for going to a war in Iraq the both Democrats and Republicans voted for? Or do mean going into Iraq because the CIA,KGB, Brit's MI-5, and German intelligence told us there was WMD's there? Or do you mean because we only lost 3000 soldiers in 5 years. where in WWII we lost nearly 8,000 soldiers in the 1st month of fighting. and a total of 418,000 soldiers died.. & we were attacked in Hawaii which wasn't even a state. Then we Attacked Germany (FYI) Germany never attacked us! But for some reason everyone thinks that was OK, We lost .. 34,000 soldiers during the Korean War in only 37 months. Here we are in 5 years at war in Iraq against Terrorist which everyone agrees we needed to be there and you want to impeach Bush? Impeach Clinton! There is no other President on our history that's been attacked more during Peace time than Bill CLinton. "During Peace Time" WoW! We were attacked via, Land starting in 1993., then Air, sea, and US Diplomat offices around the world during his whole adminstration & he did nothing.
Anyway you must check out these links which shows all the war deaths

First, Valerie Plame became into now not a CIA operative on the time the suggestions became into "leaked", and the suggestions have been declassified. for this reason, not a leak. meaning, not treason. 2nd, the "wiretapping" became into criminal...although no person's strains have been somewhat "tapped". (It became into in an editorial that became into buried interior a nicely-prevalent newspaper, between the 1st to launch the story, BTW.) acquiring the telephone information became into criminal although, the two way, and not unheard of. J. Edgar Hoover did warrantless twine-tapping whilst he became into head of the FBI, and yet even with the debate, he wasn't taken out of workplace. and you on no account be attentive to who's in contact with al-Qaida and who isn't. keep in mind, the adult males that hijacked those planes on 9/eleven have been in the country for months, and no person had a clue what they have been making plans. 0.33, in view that whilst did he in my view bribe human beings to plant thoughts? the place is the evidence of this? And is it from a nonpartisan source? No, President Bush should not be impeached. He has made judgements that human beings disagreed with, yet weren't unlawful. he's barely in workplace for below 2 years extra, then you certainly can decide for somebody else. recover from it.

I won't lie, he has made his mistakes, but honestly, which president has held a flawless record? Things happen. Presidents are making decisions not only for themselves and their families; they are making decisions for billions of people. So, I say that he shouldn't be impeached. He has 2 years left in office; I want to see if he can turn his second term around.

yes. absolutely.the lies and mistakes has cost American families far more lives and stability than the lie Bill Clinton told about an affair.but because the Democrats have a say in what he does now,we should wait til right before his term is up.just like the Republicans did to Clinton, because I'm sure everyone will agree we don't need Dick Cheyney running anything.

As a democrat, I believe we should instead be compassionate and exonerate Bush from the prior mischief and just focus on pushing Bush, and the country, in the right direction.

leave the man alone and let him do his job. The president is not the blame for anything. He is just the figure head for the forces in Washington. Remember your government classes in high school. The checks and balances built in to the government.
