I am a huge promoter of actually reading the book the way the author originally wrote it, so I beg you to actually read it. If and when you have any questions about what you are reading then go to these websites;

and
http://nfs.sparknotes.com/lear/
These websites will help you understand what you are reading but should not be used without reading it.
All teachers know about these sites and all the others. They can tell when those are the only notes that you've read. Quite often they will want you to quote directly from the actual book so please read it too. Don't forget your teachers were kids once too and they know all the short cuts. Back in the day it was Coles Notes.

No offence but what kind of an idiot wants to read Shakespeare in modern english. The whole POINT of Shakespeare is the elloquent language.
