i went to Apex high school in NC, i was there only for my junior and senior year so it didnt go well for me cuz i left behind my old friends. Even thought it was a really nice school it was dificult for me to make friends cuz in those days i didnt speak english very well, so sometimes english speakers looked at me like i was a retard or something like that ...even sometimes they make fun of me... so yeah it wasnt a good experience for me at all. I hope this help.

I went to school at Zanker Elementary just about 4 years ago, and it was great. I spent all 7 years (K-6) at Pearl Zanker, and although the kids were nice and generous as kids are, the cafecteria food was probably the most unenjoyable and dull moments that I've had there as an elementary school student. All in all, Zanker was a pretty good school academic-wise, and we had many accomplishments in the past such as improving CAT/6 scores, and receiving nationwide awards. I was allowed to have fun with my friends, but to a certain extent (no going to malls or to the movies by myself then!). Good luck with your school re-development project, by the way. :)

Mostly public schools, BORING mostly except for a few remarkable teachers.

2 years of private High School, fun and interesting mostly, smoked too much pot and chased girls mostly. Couldn't usually catch em so frustrating mostly.

College was good.

The important thing about education and schooling is that it be FUN first, INTERESTING second, FLEXIBLE third. Let the kids direct it. Encourage them to find out what interests them, what they enjoy, what they are good at. Then answer questions when you can. Plan fun interesting activities to encourage them further. Plan field trips and invite experts if or when the teachers are too dumb to help much.

Where & When did you go to school?
I've been in special needs education up until 16 as I have Asperger's Syndrome

*7-11(1994-1999) Link Primary.
*11-16(1999-2004) Limpsfield Grange School for Girls.
*16-18 Coulsdon College(2004-2006)
*18-?(2006 to - fingers crossed! - 2010)
Liverpool John Moores University

How many years were you there?
LINK: 5 LGS: 5 CC:2 LJMU: 4(fingers crossed!!)

What did you enjoy & didn't you enjoy?
^LINK: Really liked it(once I'd got out of the screaming phase)and am still friends with one of my teachers and my speech therapist from there! Still friends with a couple of girls the year above me. Didn't like Ian Patterson though (He nicked my purse and flushed it down his granny's loo, so I pulled his ears and he screamed like a girl. I think it's kinda funny in a sadistic way)
^LGS: Mrs. Imrie (Science teacher and general tutor in Year 7) was a fat *****, Mr. Hopkins was nice. Trip to France in Year 10 will stay with me forever. found my girlfriend <3 in Year 11 when she moved from her school after being expelled and keep in contact with 4 out of 13 in a whole year. Year 11 was the BEST! Wish life was still like that.....
^CC: Leaving was more emotional than I thought it'd be. Trips to Nice were great. HATED recording a fashion news programme for Media Studies. Didn't like it much from a social perspective. Too many idiotic kids (Usually black or Asians) in Lot 29 tracksuits swaggering around like monkeys and saying 'Oh ma daaaaaaaazzzze'. My ICT teacher was a CREEP and could speak hardly any English, but my Media teacher Andy was a sweetheart, and the others were nice too.
JMU: Flatmates picking on me, going out of an evening with Charlotte and cheerleaders. Lost my virginity (regretted it), lost half a stone over 6 weeks due to cheerleading (YAAY). Bringing all my stuff up is a moment I won't forget in a hurry

What were you proud of?
LINK: Blimey! Ummmmm..... too many things, I think!!!
LGS: Did Duke of Edinburgh in Year 10, 8 A-C GCSEs, being one of the first pupils to go to a mainstream school for some lessons, found my girlfriend <3 in Year 11 when she moved from her school after being expelled and keep in contact with 4 out of 13 in a whole year.
CC: My concertina in Graphics, getting a C in Critical Research for Media Studies A2, Nice trips
LJMU: Cheerleading, taking the plunge and having blue hair, Carling Academy performance

Were you allowed to have fun with friends?
LINK: Yes
LGS: YES!!
CC: I didn't feel like I could somehow (Not because of not being allowed)
LJMU: Only have one friend so far....
