i dont get how USC is still no.3 in the bcs standings, they lost to a crappy team, i think that florida, ND, and rutgers should be ahead of them., also y the hell is wake forest no. 16 when they're 9-1? they're behind 5 two-loss teams even when they beat boston college and shut out fsu. i think that the national champ shouldnt be decided by rankings, instead they should make a march madness like tourney inviting about 24 teams. what r ur opinions?

The BCS is a very fine instance of how a computer can not replace the heart of men.
I think the higher ups prefer to use it so they never have to be the bad guy. They can just hide behind a computer printout!

The BCS bites. I have season tickets for Wisconsin. The Badgers are 10-1 and now #8 in the BCS, but can't play in a BCS game because only 2 teams max can make it. So Michigan and OSU both hold tie breakers over the Badgers. It is so stupid for a computer to call Louisville the #3 team when the whole world knew they would not go undefeated. Now, it appears that if Michigan loses to OSU, they will drop from #2...which is another bunch of garbage. PLAYOFF NOW!

I've always thought that the National Championship should be a tournment........It would be intresting to see how things would go....

Here's how the bracket would look(excluding HOME and AWAY).............

1 Ohio State vs. 24 Nebraska

12 Wisconsin vs. 13 Boise State

4 USC(Southern Cal.) vs. 21 Maryland

9 LSU vs. 16 Oklahoma

3 Florida vs. 22 Tennessee

10 Louisville vs. 15 Auburn

7 Rutgers vs. 18 Georgia Tech

6 Notre Dame vs. 19 Virginia Tech

5 Arkansas vs. 20 Boston College

8 West Virginia vs. 17 California

2 Michigan vs. 23 BYU

11 Texas vs. 14 Wake Forest

i think they should take all the teams, throw the names in a bag and let everyone draw out one name. that's your 1st game of next season. by the time you repeat this process a few more rounds (119 teams -->59 teams-->30 teams-->15 teams-->8 teams-->compete off into double elimination tournament). If your team is eliminated at the 1st game, football season is over. hahahha j/k. but the different rankings and how cruddy they are/work need a change to something better.

could be this way one million. Ohio State 2. Michigan ( lost to the #one million team on the line ) 3. Florida ( lost to a high quality team on the line ) 4. USC ( lost to a undesirable team, sufficient reported ) Michigan is the only team that could furnish the buckeyes a interest, Ohio State needs no element of a rematch on a independent container

The BCS is awful. But it's all we have for the moment. It should be like the NFL and have playoffs to determine who wins what.
