Since Ann-Margarett was born 2 years AFTER 'The Wizard of Oz' came out, I'm guessing it's not her... ;-)

Um well the only "The Wizard of Oz" movie I grew up with in the 60's and 70's starred Judy Garland as "Dorothy" - I believe I read somewhere (these articles don't discuss this) that Judy was already in her 20's and they had to put her in a special corset to flatten her breasts so she could look like the young teenager or pre-teenager Dorothy. Yikes. But that wasn't the question you asked... however... I can't imagine them being able to "flatten" Ann Margaret out enough to convincingly play Dorothy.
The Imdb.com listing shows Margaret Hamilton who played Miss Gulch, the Wicked Witch of the east and the Wicked Witch of the west - so maybe that's the "Margaret" you were thinking of? And they also said the movie came out in 1939 so I guess that's the "original". Don't see anything elsewhere about Ann Margaret being in a "Wizard of Oz" production but that's not to say she couldn't have been in some other type of theater production etc. I'm not getting any hits otherwise...
Hope this helps.
