Erin O'connor.
Erin O'Connor was born in England on February 9th 1978, the daughter of a Midlands furnace builder. She was nicknamed Morticia at school after Morticia Adams, the horror star.
She was spotted by a Models One scout at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham in 1995 when she was 17 years old. Her 5'11" height, graceful build and unusual face, brought her attention. Her eyes show off her very distant Chinese ancestors. Her appearance has made her so distinctive that she is sought after by some of the world's best photographers like Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Sean Ellis and Mark Abrahams.
In November 1997, she became the face of Versace and in 2000 became the face of Jean-Paul Gaultier's new fragrance Fragile.
She is also one of only a few living people to appear on Britain's stamps, as she is part of a series on Philip Treacy's and other designers' hats issued for Ascot Week in June 2001.
