The reason i said Luther vandross rather than heatwave it is because Robert's favourite singer is in fact Luther vandross. I read that in his answers to questions.

The song was called Always & Forever and was sung by a group called Heatwave i think in 1975/76 .

the song was always and forever by heatwave `at first i thought it was lionel richie and my partner said it was george benson.
i did a search on play .com cd sales and up came the answer and the cd for sale at £6.97
