I think you should go to the doctor. Yes you could have a false positve, but you might just as well be pregnant.

I've had confusing pregnancy tests in the past. Last time it came out negative. But I new I was pregnant so I went to the doctor. I was right and the test takes as long as at home test. I became pregnant around that same time. If you are pregnant you probably won't notice (get bigger) until Christmas, more likely January. My pregnancy wasn't obvious to others until February/March. Number one thing you need to to is ask a doctor; he's the only one who can tell you for sure.

Yes there is such a thing as false positives and false negatives......give yourself a little time before you do another one that way you will be clear headed.
You can also go to Planned Parenthood in your area they do pregnancy test for free.
Try your regular physician

I did have sex around your possible ovulation time so it is totally possible.

You need to take another test to be sure....a line is a line no matter how faint and false positives are extremely rare.

There's no false positive. The tests are designed to detect a hormone which only is produced during pregnancy. To be certain use another test with your first pee in the morning because your urine is more concentrated then.
