Who do you THINK SHOULD be more important and why?

If the wife/girlfriend is not the most important, then love has not bloomed all the way, if it has arrived at all. The love of a wife differs from the love of a mother, and because of this, the wife's love is in a class of its own (or should be).

Simply put, a man's wife is more important than him mom, but a girlfriend wouldn't be.

However, the question confuses the issue a bit, IMO. They are both very important, but should have very different roles in a man's life.

I dont expect my wife to be my mom, and don't want my mom to be my wife :)

if i had to choose between the 2 id say my mom. simply because girlfriends come and then they go. as taught by todays society they seem to have a low need for my attention in general anyway.

as far as treating a girlfriend like she's the most important person... it's not necessary... it's usually not fun... and it's not reciprocal so...

why bother?

a man SHOULD be his own "most important" as far as people go because nobody else out there is gonna give a **** what happens to him.

if i had to choose between a girlfriend/mom i'd say when a gf becomes a wife it should be her, because thats the promise he makes to GOD, before that he should honor his mother.

currently my top priority in terms of females would be my daughter, because she depends on me to have that priority and not doing so could possibly cause her to suffer.

my mom smoked CONTINUOUSLY all through my athsmatic childhood, she still thinks it was ok because she "didnt really know how bad it was" which is of course is a lie but we all know that even if it means suffocating a child a womans own hapiness is always her own top priority.

my ex wife and all of my girlfriends so far are far more concerned with themselves than they are with anything or anyone else so in that regard it seems like id be wasting my time and energy by feeling the same way and giving them a high priority.

well if i mother were a live she would be the most imporant women in my life but after her my wife.my mother were always there for me though think anf thin i could always rely on her no matter what happen in my life i could talk to her about any thing and i would always know she would be there for me no matter what.know for my wife i feel the same way but there are some things i dont talk to her about because i dont want her to worry about familey problem.because i believe that the man job to do that.

It should be their wife.....BUT I know from personal experience and from also watching my friend's husbands it's really their mom...which is why mother in laws are not usually liked.

Well personally I put God first in my life and then my Wife without god you are lost in so many different ways.

They are both important, but in my case I am divorced. So I guess it would have to be my mom. She still loves me, and has helped me in tough times!
