Take it to a mechanic so he/she can check the alternator belt. Power generation in the car most of the time come from two sources; Alternator and battery.
But the battery should be used to power the spark-plugs at the start and everything that is electrical when the engine is not running. When the engine is running, the power source is the alternator. This is basically a generator that produces energy because is connected to the engine with a belt. The rotational movement of the engine drive the belt and crank the alternator, generating electricity.
Is cold time, this belt can experience some extra wear. If the bealt does not work anymore, your car start using the battery as source of power and like any other battery, this dries out.

The problem is the alternator. One way to find out for sure, is to do the following: While the car is running, disconnect the battery. If the alternator is good, the car will keep running. But if the alternator is bad, the car will stop running. The battery is only used to start the car or to use the lights, radio, etc, when the car isn't running. It is the alternator that produces the power to keep it running.

Couple of things come to mind,
1) A short in the electrical system somewhere slowly draining the battery.
2) Bad alternator - not recharging the battery while driving.
Call a good mechanic
Hope this helps,

It is either your alternator or generator that is not re-charging the battery. Have both checked at a auto shop and I am sure you will find that is the problem.

it sounds like your alternator needs to be replaced. The alternator recharges your battery as you drive....without it working your car just drains the battery.

have an AVR (Amp/Volt/Resistance) test done on it.. have the battery, starter and alternator tested.. it sounds like something is draining the battery ... could be a short in the starter or alternator or you could have a defective new battery...

have your electrical system tested. this is free from most places like auto zone. they should be able to tell you. i would say that if the battery is already bad and you need to buy a new one, its the voltage regulator. if it just needs to be charged, its the alternator.
