it depends on what features you want. and how much you are willing to pay.
if you want video get the video.
if you just want songs and pictures then you want the nano
and if you just want the basic music get the suffle.
i personaly have the video and its great!!

None, the battery life is crapy. I'd suggest a Creative Zen Touch (holds 10000 songs, but is quite big in cmparison with some players), so...
I wouldn't even touch Apple with 3 bargepoles tied together, basically. Not for MP3s, but their computers are dead cool.

I would get the 8 gig nano. I have the 4 gig and a i love it. the 8 gig will fit approximately 2,000 songs and its tiny and light.
