Correct me if I'm wrong, but a president can only be elected for 2 terms. Bush started in 2001 and was reelected. That means his last year will be in 2008, leaving the presidency open for new candidates.

To answer your question, no. An emphatic NO! Thank God he cannot be re-elected. Actually, he is so unpopular now, it is not likely that anything could make him electable in 2008, even if he were eligible.

A Democrat will most likely be elected. Americans have historically liked to elect a president from the other party after eight years of one party having the presidency. The only exception in the last sixty years is the 1988 election, where Bush Sr. was elected.

A president can only serve two consecutive terms, to 2012 is a definite no.

And while I think that Bush projects a sincere attitude of being a Christian wanting to do a good job for the country, he has a reputation in Washington for vanquishing his enemies. Anybody who embarrasses him becomes a nobody instantly. DAn RAther for example.

Somebody in his cabinet gave up the identity of a CIA worker, and that is treason. Bush's administration, which is to say, Bush himself, was angry about the husband of the CIA worker criticizing Bush.

Now I ask you, have you heard of any trials for treason? I thought not. Bush apparently deserves his reputation.

If he could I would hope he would choose to, althought I'm sure he's had enough micromanagment and criticism from people who don't realize how hard of a job he actually has. He has done a good job, he has been a bit stuborn with Iraq but other than that Bush has done well, and I'm glad he is my president

I have to agree with the others on both counts. He can not be re-elected for a third time, and hell no he hasn't done anything to impress me in eight years, what could he do besides mess us up more in the next four. But in my opinion his father did a much better job in running this country. At least when he took us to war, we knew nothing about it until they kicked a$$ and was on their way back. How many men and women have been killed in this war that people don't even know why we are fighting.

even if it weren't impossible due to the constitution,no way.you cant possibly believe he did any good for this country.it is very debatable he did some good in Iraq and Afghanistan in which i believe there would be more cons than pros in this debate.but never the less he hasn't done anything good for this country.you must be filthy rich in order to be able to survive another 8 years of this retard.

Yes with out a doubt, but too many people are dumb in this country and think he is bad. All they do is listen to the liberal news and then form the opinions based on that instead of researching themselves.

Yes, and let's ask him to declare martial law, so he can stay in office for the rest of his life and continue to spread democracy around the world.

Amendment XXII, forbids President from serving more than two terms. And no. Eight more years as Bush as our president would send the world into nuclear war.
