Libraries have many books and articles on career fields, as do Career departments in local colleges. Stop in one of the colleges, and be surprised at how much information is there. Google a specific career field, and you can gain information that way. Or, take a Strong-Campbell Inventory and it will give you an indication of which career field your personality would fit into. Good Luck.

I could love a library... as it's I have 3 bookcases and a couple of stacks right here and there! But such a lot are excellent reports, I have approximately part a bookcase for my tuition books (I'm finding out mixed honours technological know-how and devout stories) and I have learn among the classics, like Jane Austen and Dickens and, you understand, books that all people have got to have, however commonly, I like comfortable-endings and handy studying. I paintings facet time at a grocery store and I'm at tuition, so I get such a lot of my studying performed early within the morning. I'm afraid I have not a clue what number of books I have... 2 bookcases are 6x2ft, the opposite one is 3x2ft, so fill them up and that is what I've acquired!

Salary.com has job descriptions and pay scales. Are you looking for that or more of a 'I'm not sure what I want to do, what fits my personality?' book/site. If you're looking for that I'd recommend 'Do What You Are' by by Paul D. Tieger and Barbara Barron-Tieger
