If the odor is caused by a overgrowth of "bad bacteria" due to a reduction in your good lactobacilli... you can dip a tampon in yogurt and sleep with it over night. It will repopulate your good bacteria. If the odor is caused by an STD then it might have to be taken care of by antibiotics

Vaginal odor could be a sign of infection which you probably should see a Doctor for treatment soon. You could also pick up some tips or pamphlets on good personal hygiene at a women's health clinic or health teacher at school if you don't want to talk to a family member! Good Luck in whatever you decide to do! Peace!

See your doc to rule out any infections or STDs. Once that's been ruled out just wash the area (bath/shower) twice a day with a mild cleanser. Don't sit in a tub of bubble bath or douche. Only the outside needs to be cleansed. If you can find a peri-bottle, usually available in maternity wards & mix a mild cleanser & water & rinse the area each time you go to the bathroom, like you do when you have a baby. Don't use anything too strong or that has heavy perfumes as that can be very irritating as well. Good luck.

If you keep your vagina clean with baby wipes or a femanin wipe you shouldnt have too much of a problem. With all odor you should go to your doctor and get a pap smear and STD tests done. This could be a bigger problem such as an STD or an infection. Good luck!!

All of these ideas are good except I wouldn't do the yogurt thing. One of the most important thing that people do not realize is when you wipe after b.m.s always wipe away from the vagina. Do not wipe any fecal material in the vagina or it will start bacteria infections.
