well, first graph the line. pretend the < or > is an equal (=) sign. that would make the first equation x=4 which is a vertical line crossing the x axis at 4. now comes the shading part. shade the area where the x value is greater than 4. that would be everything to the right. make sure the line is dotted, because there is NOT "a little line under the arrow"

follow the same basic instructions for the other equations.
-if there is a "little line under the arrow" then make sure the line is solid.
-remember to shade where the < or > indicates; right or left of the line
