not enough for the crap they put up with..Depends on where you work (big or small), what city..LPNS make less than RN's. 2 years RN's less than 4 year, RNP and nurse midwives make most. The more education the more pay. But believe me it's not nearly as much as they should make..considering they put up with all sorts of patients with all sorts of tempers, etc.

it depends if you're specialized or not (i.e. in pediatrics, surgery, etc). also, if you're an lpn you tend to make less than an rn. if you're working in a large city compared to a rural area, you make more. private hospitals tend to pay more than other facilities. there's a lot of factors to consider....but i think the national average for r.n.'s is something like $24/hr.
