Ok. Here's a tricky one. Years and years ago I saw a movie on TV starring Johnny Whitaker (of Family Affair and Tom Sawyer Fame). He played a little boy who falls off of a cliff while chasing a butterfly and dies. He goes to Heaven and visits with God who tells him he can go back to Earth to see his family, but his family won't be able to see him. He goes back and sees how much his family misses him. That's all I can remember. I have been trying to remember the name of this movie, if you can help me, I'd appreciate it and you'd get 10 points, too.

Yes. It's the Littlest Angel. Made in 1969; I guess I'm giving away my age if I remember it from back then. LOL. I have to wait four hours before posting the best answer, but someone will get it. Thanks all who answered.
