My husband was a Marine for 8 years and then a gov't contractor doing security in Iraq for 2. What are some possible job choices in the U.S. given his skills that pay well? Thanks!

My dad was a former Marine (20 years) and helicopter pilot. He is now a contractor in Huntsville, AL building weaponry for BlackHawk Helicopters. Try looking in the Huntsville area for work for former military. They like the former military with gov't clearance.

actually none..unless you count security jobs at the mall..Now since he was a Marine the only thing I know is being a cop..Doesn't require alot of skill, need to be hard headed, need to know it all mentality, have a problem with authority..let his family know everyday he is the boss and knows more than anyone else..have a very short hair cut..He will get a job if not as a cop at least as a prison guard..Otherwise tell him to go to college learn something usefull in our society..then be productive at whatever he got the education in..if that's possible.. Good Luck

He sounds ready made to be in security work here, especially with all the concern about protecting our facilities and things from attack.
