I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense. The Psychic Sense.

In a way, yes. Human evolution should lead to powers, they may not all be psychic. Even among the people who have true powers in todays age they differ in both what they do and how much they can do. Take telekinesis for example, some people can move chairs or other things, and some can only move silverwear. there are tons of different powers already in the world, so i think with time they will only get more different, some will be better than others, but thats all genetic.

And to everyone that says that th powers dotn exsist, there have been tests that have proven psychic powers. Some powers there is no way to test, but many of the mainstream powers (ie. Telekinisis, Telepathy, and many more) have been tested with possitive results.

We all have some psychic powers even now. Mother always feels when her child is sick or something is wrong with him or her even if the grown up child lives in another city. Quite often we just know things, no proof needed. Of course, these are human abilities, and, like any other human abilities they need to be exercised and developed. And with the latest achievements in science and technology we can go very far, if we do not kill each other through air pollution, contamination of our land, rivers and numerous wars.

Really depends on our world view. Karl Jung taught that we have a higher consciousness that we need to get to. His higher consciousness he named Philemon. Toward the end of his life, Jung began to fear that Philemon was not his higher consciousness, but a being that had fooled him all those years and had invaded his life. This made him crazy, as you can imagine. That is how he died, in that state of mind. So from Karl Jung we see two opinions: 1) Psychic ability resident in us, but in our higher consciousness, and 2) what he thought was higher consciousness, he began to believe was an invading spirit with an intelligence of its own. Jung taught the first view, but came to fear the second view as the reality.

If you believe Jung, then you have to conclude that the spirit that invaded him was highly deceptive. One concludes from that the spirit was not for Jung and had its own agenda. The fact that Karl Jung died in torment demonstrates the malevolence of this spirit.
If you believe Karl Jung's teachings before his torment, then you will have to travel the same path as Jung. Scary path.

Psychics have proved themselves to be frauds. Clever yes, but frauds nonetheless. Many people are fooled. The best psychics are great psychologists and can read people well. They pick up on visual cues really well. The best are so good at it that even in a cold reading, they pick up enough to make amazing predictions that the sitter has unknowingly supplied.

However, there is a rare thing where more than just fraud is working. In these cases the psychic is taken completely over by another spirit and does amazing things. The psychic appears to be in a coma. When he wakes from his sleep, he has no memory of what he just did. Karl Jung would have argued in the beginning that this psychic was reaching his higher consciousness, but later would have viewed this condition as an invading spirit.

Now I can tell you that there are spirits out there. I know one who has seen them. The ones he saw were like mighty warriors, thick and huge and wearing armor. They were fearsome and put the fear of God in you. That one knew that these four spirits were bad, bad news.

My recommendation: Stay your mind in objective reality. Do not let your imagination become your reality. Keep your mind in objective reality. A good book to read is "How to Think About Weird Things -- critical thinking for a new age" by Theodore Schick Jr. and Lewis Vaughn. $40.00 at Amazon but I got mine at Half Priced Books for $7.00. I really don't mind dog eared, used books. Some people do.

Well, you said harness. So, I would say yes in some form or degree. It isn't so much as being something personal as it is in a functional way by science and equipment. The supernatural takes many forms of knowledge not yet understood by most people. It isn't fake or illusions it's just still mysterious and new.Look into remote viewing which has also been referred to as Psychic Spying.

if your talking about an evolutionary advancement,i do not believe the earlier psychics would allow the rest of the people to advance, they would be held back by scientific means.homosapiens kept the neanderthals from developing into a competing race...except for those who later settled in the region of france

Could be an evolutionary development...I do believe there are already people out there with a real ability. A pity there are so many frauds that spoil it.
