most "normal" people use toilet paper after they poop. Seeing how dogs and cats poop just like we do, having your dog or your cat lick your face isn't the best thing. Especially since they lack the capacity to use toilet paper. LOL. No I'm not bored. It's just a gross thought that I had after watching my friend's dog lick him all in the face and mouth! Any thoughts on this one?

And these cats and dogs, I am assuming, lick their areas clean after a poop session? Then yes, I agree-ew.

I could'nt agree more.I've seen many people allow it to happen thru the years and it never fails to gross me out.I love my dog with all my heart but she's not allowed to lick(though she has tried)for those reasons. They say dogs have less germs then humans,I don't see how!

Ever hear of the Myth Busters? They are a team that tests out 'myths'. They did one to compare a human's mouth vs a dog's mouth ... and guess who's mouth is cleaner??? Yup, the dog's.

yeah, it does sound sick but cats and dogs have different enzymes in their saliva that keep their mouths clean.
