No you can't. They add way to much stearic acid to store soaps and you end up with a disgusting sticky mess. If you'd like to try your hand at soap making - get some melt and pour soap base. You can add any scent you'd like and or colorant to match your bathroom/kitchen. M&P is designed to re-melt and pour into your own molds. Check out your local craft store, if you're out in the boonies like me I love www.scenterstage.com they will have everything you need and all their products are top of the line.

The point being is to melt store bought soap and put it into an awesome mold of your choice and maybe even tweak it a bit with fragrance or mix with other soaps. Cheaper.

sounds like a waste of time to me, take a bar of soap and turn it into a bar of ...soap? if you want to make soap you can buy the ingredients and add whatever scents you want, then you would be making soap.
