when I try to send a song to it it plays nothing is there a unlock somwhere? I heard of something called lightwave but cant find it

When you say song I'm guessing you mean ringtone. I have found several things that can hinder this. You have to send from a web based email. You have to send it in a format the phone recognizes. You also have to have it a certain bit rate for the phones as well. I noticed when I send an odd bit rate to my phone through web based email it will come up with no sound at all. So I went back and saved the file in a different bit rate resent it to the device and it played normally.
If you can get your hands on a data cable it would be much easier to do this though with a program called BitPim(free software). Data cables from LG-VX3200, VX-3300, VX-6100, VX-7000, VX-8000, and VX-8100 all have the same charge port/data cable tip.
