I am in the same situation. With my experience, it IS NOT a good idea to have other people ask for you. Its a 50/50 chance. The best way i suggest is to ask him.

The only sure way is to put yourself on the line and ask-trying to find out in roundabout ways is time consuming and can also mean to him if he finds out later that you did not trust the friendship enough to ask. and that may damage it somehow.Being open, direct, communicating often is the best way to approach a situation. Would be wonderful if he too felt more than just friendship but if not consider yourself lucky to have a best friend.

I suggest you ask. When I was younger (in high school) I really liked a girl but carefully hid any signs. Three years later, I found out that she thought I was cute and really liked me. You see, if either of us had talked to the other then we would have both been receptive to a relationship. A lot of shy guys lay careful hints and then hope to get a positive reaction from a girl. If you like him, then do something about it!

By the way he act's like tomorrow when u talk to him r when ever say gosh im soo ugly and see what he says if he tell you your pretty and talks to u sweet and nice then ya no he loves u!

Do what I did, try flirting with him, and when you sit next to him, put your leg by his, if he finds that a little strange, he doesn't like you, but if he likes it, and his leg doesn't move, he likes you, or he doesn't really care.... but mostly it probably means he likes you!!

Well, a big clue is that he wouldn't be your "friend" anymore. He would be flirting.
