Well, if you totally LOVE him
The misery
Love is a beautiful thing, right? Not when it's unrequited. That's when you're totally head over heels about someone and they either have no idea, or even worse, know but aren't interested. Your time's spent wondering 'What If?' and imagining how much better the world would be if they were your boyf.
True love or lust?
Don't get unrequited love confused with a crush - if it's just a crush you won't be secretly hoping for something to happen. A healthy crush is a great way to pass the time - Jake Gyllenhaal anyone? But unrequited love can seriously affect your moods and the constant obsessing can slowly start to drive you insane. You need to try and get over it or at least make it more manageable.
If they just don't know….
Then you have two options; 'fess up or accept that nothing will ever happen. You don't have to blurt it out, but you do have to take some action as you can't carry on revolving your life around someone who hasn't got a clue. It will only lead to heartache when they cheerily tell you about their hot new girlfriend.
If they don't feel the same…
It can feel like the end of the world. It can happen when you fall in love from afar, when your feelings change for a friend or even when a relationship comes to an end. But remind yourself - the heartache will start to fade and so will your feelings for them, even if it doesn't feel that way at the time.
Don't feel embarrassed that they know how you feel - they're probably relieved to have an explanation for your irrational behaviour towards them. And if you're feeling humiliated think of it like this: If it was the other way round would you think they were sad and desperate, or would you feel flattered and touched? If they think it's funny, or don't treat it with the sensitivity it deserves, then use that hurtful behaviour as the first major reason why you need to get over them.
It's Not Your Fault, OK?
Don't beat yourself up wondering why they don't like you back. You can't choose who you fancy (if you could, you'd choose someone that love you back after all!), and neither can they. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you, but also nothing you can do to change their mind. So, you need to start enjoying all the things you enjoyed before they came along. And remember, you're not alone. Unrequited love is just an unavoidable part of life - if it can happen to Jennifer Aniston, it can happen to anyone.

The best thing to do is to go up to him and start talking to him. Start giving off the signals that you like him, flirt a little. If he doesn't ask you out, then you can ask him out.

If you have to ask here, you are not mature enough to deal with a relationship.
