Runescape is the "massive online adventure game". You can play it for free, or pay $5 a month for the expanded "members" version. You create a player and learn different skills/crafts. You can also do many quests/challenges. The game is constantly growing and expanding. While you play, you can interact with others in real-time. It's a lot of fun!
