the theatrical make up glue for like facial hair and what not- my friend needs help and doesnt have the remover with him- are there any alternatives?!

If, you have Avon Skin So Soft Lotion it may work. I know it remove sticker glue from things. All I know, it just make him smell good.

Try using Make-up remover or warm water to loosen the glue!

A very steamy hot washcloth. Try that. It will soften the glue, hopefully.

You might try nailpolish remover - it contains acetone which is a good all-around solvent.
But not near the eyes, and very careful anywhere else on the face.
