It's like this; I just had 2 weeks off work sick, got my little lads birthday and Xmas coming up. Not to mention that I got bumped off by Farepak.

I've already bet a tenner at the start of the season, but with our comeback expertise & history I might be tempted to have a whirl.

Frankly, I'd love to see a team other than Chelsea, Man U, or Arsenal win it. But i have to agree 100% with brian_music_football. For Liverpool, it's a pipe dream now.
They don't have the consistency to pull it off, especially defensively. At the heart of every Premiership league winner is a phenominal defense. Liverpool have some work to do to catch up to the top clubs. Just look at Portsmouth this year - huge jump in the tables - why? Even a hack like me can figure that one out.

Well, looking at this logically, I've a 90% chance of winning five million dollars ..... and a 10% chance of shooting myself dead. I suppose it's going to be quick and painless if I get it wrong, it's a couple of million quid if I get it right, and never being able to forget how it might have been if I walk away ..... I think those odds are worth it. You regret the things you *did* do for about as long as until the next time you do something stupid (well, except the very last one -- you usually don't regret that for long at all), but you regret the things you *didn't* do forever.

if a bookie offers you 100/1 on an event, you can bet the real odds of it happening are more like 1000/1.

I thought you were pulling my plonker at 100/1.
However, I looked it up and found 80/1.
I only bet on dead certs, but this one looks quite a good bet.
Can't do it though. They are more than 8 points adrift. I think I would prefer Villa at 400/1. Villa to come second is 149/1. I think this is a better bet?

Only if you are really stupid...It always makes me laugh when you hear fans of football clubs that have no chance of winning the league say "It's gonna be our year".
No, it isn't, your team aren't good enough, unless you are Chelsea or Manchester Utd...no, not even Arsenal...be realistic.

No, I think you should put loads of money on it, then Mr Ladbroke can afford a new car and a nice holiday this year.
