Well, they'll be the exact same amount, but that amout can vary anywhere from 1 degree to 179 degrees

Alternate exterior area also equal therefore equal and supplementary means they are each 90 degrees

If the two lines cut by the transversal were parallel, the alt ext angles would be congruent, so 90 degrees each. If not parallel they could be any two numbers that add up to 180
