Change to cable modem. It's soooo much faster !!!

Call AT&T DSL and tell tehm you have slow speed. you can hace it increased for a small fee. Mine was the same way and now it's faster.

I used to use SPRINT DSL...then the wankers changed over to Embarq...that is when all the "outages" and excuses began to happen.

My advice, change your provider.

I went with my local cable tv provider..it is slower..BUT haven't had ANY downtime or outage.

two things....first unplug your modem for a few minutes and then reboot it. Sometinmes they need to be "reset". Then go to broadband reports.com. Take the tweak test and follow the recommendations to reconfigure your tcp/ip. by default it's set for a dial up modem.

i have verizon yahoo dsl. some times it slow and other times its really fast ..u can test it http://infospeed.verizon.net/

Your provider is adding more and more people to limited bandwidth. So, until they upgrade their service it will get slower with each new customer.
