Yes, it does cost something. It depends on your telephone company. Where I live I think it costs about $1 every time you use it.

It depends upon a few things. If you have some sort of service package from your phone company, it is free with unlimited usage. If you just have dial tone service--i.e. no package plan, there is usually a fee of a small amount. Look in the first few pages of your phone directory and it will provide information about all the services available from your phone company.

It entirely depends on the country you live in and the company whose phone you are using.In USA it may cost you upto $1 for each such call,but it is a completly free service in India.
