Because you are a TRUE lover of music you can appreciate all types. People that hate are people that don't understand. They are so narrow minded and one sided that it's actually sad for them that they can never broaden their horizons and be a true lover of music for a true appreciation of the arts.

Ay ,there is absolutely nothing wrong with having an eclectic pallet of music preferences as long as you truly heart fully enjoy it for your own self.Do you portray an outer image to go with your taste in music from time to time which would be the only reason I can see people calling you a poser but otherwise people could just be threatened by you.Ultimately whatever you do and whatever image you adapt or create and whatever you listen to enjoy it.Screw other people.A lot of people really have nothing better to do and very rarely will you find people who will say something good or positive about other people.Remain true to yourself and find better people to associate with.Party on babe-peace.Chio!Riz>

It's just because people are all so stereotypical. Just completely narrow-minded. They say you can't listen to country unless you're a cowboy or a cowgirl. They'll mean things if you listen to rap and you're not African American. They call people posers if they listen to certain bands like Metallica or ACDC. They'll say you're stuck in the 'good days' or something like that if you listen to classical music. You should just ignore them, of course not everyone is like that. I personally like a variety of music, but no matter what, there will always be one person who puts you down because you listen to something certain.

People are mad because they're mind is just closed in to just one thing, and they don't want to open their minds. I like people who are interested in lots of different music genres. It shows how creative you are, and if you judge someone or persecute them on their interests, then it isn't a free country, is it?

i dont think you are a poser cuz of it i think your a very accepting person who isn't afraid to find a new type of music to listen to. and you kinda look forward to it. now my brother is another story. he "likes" alot of different types of music. i only call him a poser cuz he one minute luvs emo music then the next minute will be listening to rap music and say emo music is for gay boys and emos that like to cut themselves. and then next minute he will switch and like emo music again and start talking bad about a different type of music he likes. so that i call a poser. cuz he changes his story for certain people and certain music and isn't honest and proud to say he likes a certain genre of music so if you are like that then i call you a poser too but you don't seem liek that so you aren't a poser.

Just crank it up loud enough to drown them out and enjoy your eclectic self. I am also a multi-genre music listener. If it is done well, it's all good.

don't worry about those people it's ur opinion that counts, not theirs. I mean ur the one who loves the music u love so y do u care what other people think. Plus it's called individuality so those people should understand.
