to give color to the nails. some do it as a way of accessorizing themselves sometimes they match it with the clothes they are wearing. some do it coz it's free with a customary manicure...some do it to harden nails coz it does make nails harder...i love nail polish and have 52 or something bottles...planning to get more, it is a way to express myself and be "stylish". some do the french manicure coz it makes nails look cleaner.

It's a simple, quick thing to do that lasts for a while and can be inexpensive and can add the simplest touch that makes your outfit perfect. It's always easy to take off or change.

I don't know about anybody else, I do it because it makes my hands look pretty, I try to always make it match my outfit, It is just another way for some of us girls to look prettier.

most people just like the colors and like to match colors with things that they are wearing. it may look weird to people, but to others its just another beauty essential.

Honestly i have no idea, I just end up pealing it off. but some people like it so they have there things and people like us just don't and that's cool too.
