I wanted to get a aquarium TAnk 4 my gerbils but they cost too much since tanks are the best choice wat should i do for a cage or wat store has them cheap like petsmart or petco or wat!!?! help!!!

Flea markets, tag sales etc all have tanks for little money; newspaper ads etc. Try those areas, people get tired, bored , change minds so there are always reduced tanks for sale.

Have you thought about a used tank? You can find them at yard sales or in the want add section of your local newspaper. You don't have to worry if the tank will hold water because your not going to use it for fish. That alone should make the tank cheaper as the cost of the tank is because the glass has to be water tight for use with fish. I see tanks along side the road sometime waiting for the trash man. Make sure you clean what ever tank you get very well before you put your gerbils into it. Also you can look into used bird cages depending on how much room you have. There are a number of smaller cages that should work for your gerbils. First decide witch kind you thank will work best then look in the newspaper first then go to yard sales and then your local pet shop & if you want you can build one out of plexy glass that you can get at the hardware store. There should be some information at your local library on how to do that...Best of luck

Check yard sales or pet stores that sell fish if a tank has a crack or leak in it it is no longer usable for Fish so they might be sold at a big discount.
Even try to put a advertisement on a free website in your area asking for anyone with a broken tank to give you a call you could take it off their hands for free or less than $10.00.

The Wal-Marts down here sell 10 gallon tanks for less than 9 bucks.

Look at glasscages.com
They have lots of tanks and they usually come out cheaper than at the pet store even after shipping. Good Luck!

You can make one for about $10 by getting a really big plastic storage crate and cutting out the side or the lid, and fixing weldmesh to the hole. There are good instructions on the Dapper Rat website, here: http://www.dapper.com.au/articles.htm#cage

u should just go to petco and get the fish tank that is about 13 bucks and that is good. I use to keep imy in there and it love it. I

Walmart usually has very chaep tanks in the pet area!About $70 tops!

Buy a big clear box with a lid and drill holls in the lid. then put stuff in the box. just dont forget to clean it regularly
