and she has just found out that he is bi-sexual and is still contemplating dating him. I think this is a huge mistake, and was wondering if any women could offer me their encounters with bisexual men and tell me of their experiences.

I'm curious why you would think it's a huge mistake, is it just because the man is bisexual? Just because someone is bi doesn't mean they carry diseases or are going to cheat.

My own experience is that it's the best of both worlds, because you have a guy that has all the qualities women fawn over in gay men, but who is attracted to women too.

I don't think you have the right to interfere just because you feel a personal bias against bisexuals (my inference from your comments). It's her choice, so leave it be! She's a big girl... she can decide on her own, and if it bites her in the a*s, well, she'll learn from the experience... by HERSELF. The last thing she needs is a nagging friend to dictate her life. I mean, you can always throw your two cents in there, but what's that going to accomplish...?

Bisexual people can be just as faithful as anyone else.
To suggest that they will automatically sleep around with men is exactly like saying a straight man will automatically sleep around with other women - it just doesn't work that way.
If he genuinely loves your friend, he will be as faithful to her as any other man would be, so there is no more reason to reject him than anyone else.
She should base her judgments on his personality, and whether he is a good and caring person, not on his sexuality.
