The Mayan calendar is just a count of days. It doesn't make predictions. The only "prediction" it makes is that, according to their count, the 13th Baktun begins on that day.
We can guess what that might mean, but it's not the calendar predicting.
It is supposed to be an energetic rebirth. NOT the end of the calendar OR the end of the world.

Absolutely nothing. If the Mayans were around today they might have a ceremony on that date and sacrafice a few people but it'd only be to observe the end of an old count and start of a new one, much like we celebrate new year's eve. The Mayans did not believe the world was to end on that day.

Nothing. The Mayans had no special knowledge, they just didn't exteend their calendar any further. There's no comet headed for Earth that we know of, so claiming there is one makes no sense.

A time of hoping there is a God and looking for him to help us. Maybe he will hear us and tear the comet to pieces.
