I did not realize that their was Clinton's impeachment hearings if that true then they were stupid and something that the media wanted. sexually harassment is a serious obsessive crime. He should have been maybe impeach looking at her point I would not want a president that comments sexually harassment crimes, so I don't want him as president period yes he should of been impeached. truthfully you should put Clinton in jail with wife. then you should put his whole admiration. Then you should put bush senior and bush junior and the admiration in jail also. Maybe we get a new president soon that will be good.

yes this was nothing more than a joke.the first sign that the republicans had too much power.40 million dollars to impeach a man for denying he had an affair.not one person with half of brain that was guilty of this would admit it,especially world wide.this was a waist of not only the money and the people of America's time, but a waist of a very good leader as well.

Oh man! I think what Bush has done is WAY more impeachable than anything Clinton ever did. Clinton should have stood up and said, "Yeah, I hit that. What of it?"

Yes, I think it was ridiculous and I was sooooo tired of hearing about it. Clinton actually did a good job as president. He left us with a record surplus budget and good will around the world. Bush has squandered both.

A 100% political hatchet job. Sure, lying to the Grand Jury about an embarrassing personal sexual activity was bad but impeachment? C'mon. 100% politcally motivated.

And if the new congress tries to get Bush, I'll say the same thing.

This will go down in history as the most amazing abuse of power ever. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that that piece of trailer trash ever read a small right wing magazine and instantly decided that everyone would know that Paula was her. I can't get over the coincidence of Linda Tripp being so close to Goldberg, a Republican operative whose son now appears on talk shows too. The same Linda who worked for Foster and was "best friends" with Monica. Washington must be awfully small for so many coincidences. Lets not forget the woman who claims she was 'raped' by Clinton, and had bruises on her neck, my momma used to call then hickeys, and I would imagine she had considerable explaining to do since she told her husband she didn't have a lover, and her lover she wasn't sleeping with her husband. And Clinton was in town that week, maybe. As to Whitewater....it had already been investigated several times before Clinton ever got to Washington, it was just a hang-your-hat-excuse, for the vengeance driven right wing.

I thought it was stupid! I was very angry that they ran him through the mill like that over what? Yes he lied to a grand jury but it should never have gotten that far in the first place. If the democrats try to do the same with bush I will feel the same way

Yea. It was a giant waste of money. It shows how desperate some zealots are. Now they are whining about the election results.... the Onion reported that the republicans are blaming the democrats for their losing the election. Seems the Dems knocked on doors and said bad things about them and they want to make the dems stop it..... Pot Kettle Black comes to mind.
I want to know why these same people refuse to even consider impeaching GWB.... Why is that? I am certain there are more and better crimes GWB committed.... time will tell.

The cost of investigating Clinton was something like $42 million.

The cost of investigating 9/11 was only $16 million.

Which deserved more of the taxpayers' money?

Not really, I mean I don't think many people thought he should have been impeached because of an extra marital affair, but he did lie under oath, and for that reason he should have been impeached, and was in the House of Representatives.
