remember the topic's the Black Death which was a plague that swept thru Europe in the late 14th century & killed over 1/3 of the population.

I'm not sure if any of these will help. I could give you a better title if you told me the essay. So, then I could take it from the essay, like a phrase you said concering the plauge, and make it into a title. But, ANYWHO, here it is..

Another names for the plague were--Cholera, black boils, the black scourge, bubonic plague, or a more modern names-- the black flu or Vibrio Cholerae(the name of bacteria causing cholera).
I like the title"Vibrio Cholerae or Black Witches Curse?"
