OK, EARLIER THIS YEAR I WAS THE WINNER OF A CONTEST TO MODEL FOR A LOCAL MALL, AND NOW IM APPEARING IN MAGAZINES AND OTHER THINGS LIKE THAT. ITS NOT THAT I DONT LIKE MODELING, ITS JUST THAT A FEW WEEKS AGO I FOUND PICTURES OF ME TACKED UP ON OUR SCHOOL POST-IT BOARD, SAYING THINGS ON THEM LIKE SLUT AND HOE AND SKANK!! I NEED SOME ADVICE ON IF I SHOULD QUIT MODELING, OR IGNORE THE COMMENTS.
THIS ALSO HAS HAPPENED ABOUT FIVE TIMES SINCE THE FIRST ONE.

No, dont quit sweetie. People are always cruel no matter what you do. It's just someone who's jealous of you. Quitting will only let them win.

Definitely don't quit, especially if you're good enough for magazines and such. High schoolers are so immature and it's probably coming from a lot of jealousy. I can even admit if a girl I didn't like or that I thought was prettier than me had showed up in a mag when I was in high school I would have probably done the same thing. I know it's horrible but don't worry about them. YOU are the one in magazines and they aren't. Don't let them get to you, you will regret if forever. In a few years they will only be blurs in your memory. Besides, I doubt they will be saying the same thing when you're modeling for Victoria's secret mags!!

Do you enjoy modeling? If so, don't let the pettiness of others hold you back!!! They are probably just jealous!! Are the things they are saying about you true?? If you quit you are just validating their slander!!! Don't give in, those who know you won't give heed, and those who want to know you won't listen to idle gossip!! Live your dreams, look out for yourself, cause no one else will!! Good luck!! You must be very pretty to have won the contest, and to appear in magazines!! Good for you!! Keep it up!!
