I need an excuse to call my friend...We're in a fight, but I need to call her so she'll go online. But I need an excuse. She wants to make up, so is not like she totally hates me. But why would I call someone who I'm fighting with? Plausible excuse, please.

why do you need to hide behind an excuse? if you and she want to make up, simply call her and tell her so. friends will disagree and a true measure of your friendship is the willingness to make-up, forgive and forget.
call your friend, and be truthful. why talk online? invite her out for coffee, a movie, dinner, a walk in the park...something if you live close to each other and if she means that much to you. a good and honest friend (even if we don't like the truth they tell us about ourselves) is rare and hard to come by.

Go see your friend! And if she/ he is really a true friend, you should not need an excuse. A simple I am sorry we argued would do it! It never really matters in the long run who is right and who is wrong. Life is so very short, your best friend could be gone in the blink of an eye!

You should not need an excuse to call her. Just call her or im her and apologize for whatever, and say we are friends we shouldnt fight about such silly things. If she is really your friend she will accept that, if she doesnt you dont need her anyway!

Do you have any of the same classes together? If you do you could ask her something aqbout homework.
Since you said she wants to make up tho- why don't you just call and say- hey.... let's be done with the fight.

See where it goes from there. Apologizing to each other would be a good reason.
