ok. so i am a kid starting middle school and I thought that I could use a new look. So I got a side part and bangs that sway to the side. I thought it looked really good. My personality is a tomboy. SO I can't hind it all that well. SO I guess when I talk I am not all valleygirl. Once a really mean girl came up to me and said that I looked like a boy. I'm ok with that but it really bugs me how she thinks that she is so cool. AUHG! Also my face isn't that girly, like most girls at my school have lots of angles (like they're jaw and chin and stuff) I guess that looks good. My face is round and i guess it looks boyish. I have been wearing good shirts too! I'm not sure what I'm actually asking but I am really sad and like yesterday I thought I looked really good in a high ponytalk and today I'm like MY NOSE IS TO BIG!!!! AUHG! I am so ugly. ~Alexa :(

when we get older we notice things we didnt before - if you dont think you are beautiful then just go to a store or mall and pay attention to the guys (yeah the older ones will be old enough to notice and value your beauty), they will be looking at you out of the corner of their eye or glancing back casually and believe me they are not thinking of whether or not you look like a tomboy, they are looking at you because you are preciously beautiful. your youth and beauty has been fought for since time began. people your own age just dont see it, but when they do (and they WILL) youth will be over and you will just be beginning

Wait, yep, wait a few years, you will be the stunning woman your girly baby girls will all envy. Your face matures at different ages, and at fourteen or so your nose is fully grown and your jaw isn't. It will even out eventually, so will the mood swings that make you feel great one minute and ugly the next. If you can't be conventionally pretty (pallid word that) then go for a very individual look, that means, be the best you, whatever you are. If its cute and boyish, go cute and boyish, with a feminine emphasis that makes a guy look twice. You are only going to spend a few years as a teen, you will spend the rest of your life as an adult who will reach your potential, the girls you admire today have already reached theirs and its all down hill for them after college.

ok you are your worse critic so most likely you are pretty you just look at the negative things but there probably is some one out there that thinks that you look great some tips that i think might work. ok i dont know what you like and what you wear or anything like that but things that i did was to not always wear jeans and a t shirt with a hoodie i started to wear a skirt every once in a while but i dont like skirts without like leggings or something cuz i think i have really white legs i also wear like jeans with a nice shirt with jeans and that looks cute like a cute shirt from hollister or aerpostale then like some other times but not very often i would wear the normal jeans t shirt and hoodie so that is all i can say i hope this works for you

Being new sucks. Stop beating yourself up. I know it's difficult now, but eventually you will find a place to fit in. In the meantime, dont' hate yourself - it's the situation, not you. Believe it or not, even the beautiful ones are not happy w/ themselves all the time. Concentrate of pursuing activities you enjoy - there is life after Jr & high school - just hang in there.

ok first of all you have to have confidence. you have to believe your pretty. all you have to do is wear girly clothes. and pretty much act like a valleygirl. its kinda fun cuz i am a valleygirl. and the girl just said that to make you feel bad. a lot of girls have round faces. everyone have a different shape head. diamond, square, round, oval, many kinds. ask someone who you know will help you become more girly. you dont have to be girly just look girly. have fun!

What kind of tomboy uses "like" in every other sentence? That sounds pretty valleygirlish to me.... not to mention the complaining. If you genuinely don't give a sh*t, then why are b*tching about it? Who cares what that other girl says? It's time for you to either talk back to her or leave it alone. Just don't get into a physical fight...
STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE! Society has warped your mind too much... no one looks glamorous all the time. Make-up can make anyone look "good." Trust me. But if that's not your style, then don't give into it. Duh.
