I'm a loner at heart... Being really social brings too many problems for me, and I enjoy being in the company of music, books, and the internet... :-)

I am a loner at heart also. I don't mind being in social situations, I just find that people tend to piss me off. I find that i would rather spend my time on the internet, playing with my dogs, cooking, or watching tv. I do like to have dinner parties though. I find that if small groups of one to three people are the best way to have fun. But i would rather sit at home alone then go out to a bar or club.

I'm usually very much a loner. As long as I have a good book, music, and the internet I am happy. However I am social sometimes, just depends on what I am in the mood for I guess. Also depends on how badly my depression is affecting me.

Im social when I have to be work etc. but to look for or need people around all the time..no I can be alone. not to mean I dont enjoy company or get lonely loner inbetween

Well, to be honest, I'm a very social person. I have a lot of friends, but some days I just feel like spending time with myself. You know, lighting candles around the bathtub with a glass of wine and some Bauhaus in the background. I think I'll unplug the phone and go do that later.

on a scale of 1 to 5, one being loner and 5 being social butterfly, I am a 2....i prefer being wih myself, but i do like the few good friends i have

I'm more than just a bit of a loner & agree about the problems. I no longer mix well with people & like you am comfortable with my reading & music & the net.

i'm somewhere in between. I can be loner at times when like you, i don't like to socialise with anyone and find the company of books, music and DVDs. Other times,i like to go out with friends.
