It sounds like the compressor is not running, the freezer fan motor is generating heat because it's still running. if the condenser coils are dirty (located underneath) behind the front. they can cause the compressor to overheat & cut out on the overload. clean the condenser & plug it back in listen for the compressor to come on there is also a cooling fan next to the compressor that needs to be running. If you here a snap & click the Compressor is not going to run.....Most likely the relay on the compressor has failed or even the compressor. Read your user manual The Warranty will tell you what is & is not covered. Also it won't be your defrost heater staying on there is protection from the heaters staying on.

I've never known a broken cooling system to HEAT the refrigerator. It simply stops cooling it. But if it's self-defrosting, then it has a heating element in the freezer that turns on once in a while to drive out the moisture that otherwise turns to a frost buildup. This element only runs briefly, but is fairly powerful. I know a refrigerator where the plastic inside the freezer door melted because there was a loose wire that grounded to the case of the refrigerator and the heater stayed on. This refrigerator also shocked someone because it wasn't plugged into a grounded outlet. Pull the plug and leave it out.

last time I had a problem with my fridge blowing hot air, there wa some type of fan on the bottom of the unit which had come partially unplugged. It could be several problems, unless you actually know what you're looking for, there's nothing you can do except wait. Also, check your list of neighborsand friends, see if any of them know any temp fixes for your cooling issues.

Sorry to inform you ,it appears that the liquid that cools your fridge is leaking or is blocked. It could be a bad fan, or compresser. Bummer, you need it repaired or the liquid replaced or a new fridge...

I am no mechanic but I have had enough refrigerator compressors stop working and they exhibit the same symptoms you describe.
The only fix was to replace the compressor.
