I know many people(including my uncle) that HATES her....Why?

I LOVE Rachael Ray. Some people just aren't really fond of her. It's just their opinion.

No, and here's why: I'm a server, and I've only seen her show 40 Dollars a Day a few times, but I have a BIG problem with it. The thing is, she takes advantages of specials and discounts (like happy hour). I have no problem with that fact alone, but she won't tip more than 15%, and that's after the discounts. More and more, the expected tip at restaurants is moving towards 20%. Moreover, it's bad form to tip on the total bill after the discount. Servers usually only make $2.13/hour, so our tips are our livelihood. It isn't fair when servers get tipped on the post-discount total because they still did the same amount of work for the table. She is a celebrity and a role model for many people. Furthermore, her family owns a restaurant so she should know the proper tipping etiquette. She needs to set a better example.

I'm with Simply Aubrey - no way Ray. Racheal Ray is so overly perky that she seems totally fake.

I'm not her biggest fan. 1) Her mouth is enormous (literally) 2) Her voice is annoying - too manly maybe 3) She has very wide hips...not very cute if your in the public eye. And I KNOW that she was never really a chef before her show, she has no real world experience, I think she's phony.

she's cool, I've had some of the meals from her books & they're delicious. I haven't watched her show though, she seems like she could be annoying, but a tasty cooker!

I adore her. She is one of the most captivating specimens of womanhood on Earth. And it don't hurt that she is sicilian either!

She is a smart cook and a good cook. pretty and has a sense of humor..yes I like her...
