was seeing ths guy and one day I text messaged him about my earrings, and then left him a voicemail explaining that i needed to know if they were at his house, because i was wearing them to go out, he text messaged me five minutes later and told me not to call him anymore, because he did not like me and that he would tell my sorority sisters about our relationship...and he would tell other people as well, and that I should know that he has a girlfriend and she is a member of my sorority(keep in mind that i did not know he had a girl,so the next day I get a call(from his best friend) who is also one of my sorority sisters calls me and invites me to an event that he was hosting? And I 'm like this is weird, because she has never called me..So What do you think was the cause of his/her behavior? do you think she knows something, or maybe he told her something,?Or was it a coincidence that she calls me asks me to go out with her after I ahdn't heard from her in over eight months?

plus when I did fina;;y return his best friend calls, she said that she wanted me to go help out with this politcal rally he happended to be hosting, and then she lied and said it was over..

the other people are right -- sounds like a messed up situtation all around, and you'd best just stay away from it. Nothing good can ever come from a guy who acts like that.
As far as the girl who got back in touch with you, I would not simply show up. Insist you talk to her on the phone or meet her for coffee before you go to any party. That way, no surprises for you.
Like I said before, that guy sounds like a real jerk, and you don't need him in your life at all.

Sounds like he was only after one thing. More than likely his girlfriend was there and started giving him hell, so he made up some lie saying that you were chasing him. Go to her and be straight up, she needs to know the truth. She may not believe you so you may have to ask her to look for your earrings and that you don't want no trouble he never told you that he was dating anyone and your sorry. You would never date someone who was already taken. Even if she don't believe you, she will respect you for telling her.

WOW, that sounds really bizarre...

I would probably be glad you ended up out of the relationship with the guy who sounds remarkable unstable in the first place...

Honestly though, I would watch the friend... Of course I am VERY suspicious by nature...

Well, even though you're in college, it seems like you are getting involved with people who are immature. Stay away from them. Maybe she does know something. Be cautious.
