I don't think there has been a night in the 8+ years we've been together that my wife didn't come before I did, which is difficult because she can only have clitoral orgasms.
Not trying to brag, just trying to gauge where I stand next to others in the bedroom.

Its really up to each and every individual person. Why should a woman have to orgasm before a man? There shouldnt have to be any specific order. It should just be whoever blows their top first :P

I don't think I always have to come first as long as we both achieve orgasm. Sometimes I make him orgasm first because it takes hours for him to do it again. Then I get to have several. Of course, if the man can't continue after orgasm, then the woman should definitely come first.

Your wife sounds like a very lucky woman. My husband wants me to O first but is very impatient and doesnt take the time to let it happen a lot. As for the remark from cope_acet, women can have vaginal orgasms. I thought it was a myth for a while until i experienced it and it was GREAT.

Hon. I don't know where you got misinformed....but clitoral is the ONLY way for a woman to orgasm!
Vaginal "orgasms" are a myth.
No wonder so many women are considered "frigid" if they can't *** by a penis ramming into them--vaginal walls have very few nerve endings.
Did you know that a clitoris has EXACTLY the same number of nerve endings as a penis does?
That thing is SUPER sensitive!

I'm a woman, and I personally don't think it matters...I'm not sure if your mindset (and you are not alone in it) comes from trying to be a gentleman (open her door, pull out her chair, get her off first, etc) or not...and it's a nice sentiment...but I don't think it's a big deal, at least it isn't to me...
I definitely would like to orgasm when I'm having sex...but if he gets his first or me, doesn't make a bit of difference...at times, I'd actually rather he go first because sometimes after I've had mine, I don't want to be touched for a bit (nerves too sensitive) and he may want to dive right in...

No, I don't agree. There's been plenty of times when my husband came first, and managed to keep things going (either with the usual, or with fingers and/or tongue) till I climaxed... or, times when I just enjoyed the feel of his.
If she can only have clitoral orgasms, I suggest that you two do a bit of sexual research. Vaginal orgasms *are* harder to achieve, but are possible with various positions, techinques, preparation, and frame of mind on her part.
However, I have to say that I commend your attention to your wife's enjoyment, that you make sure she's having fun before you climax yourself. That's a nice ethic. But I just wanted to say that there's a lot out there that might offer an expansion to the both of you, of your sharing experience, that you will both enjoy. I'm glad you care about her enjoyment, but there's lots of variety under the sun... and speaking as a female, one doesn't always need to have an orgasm to thoroughly enjoy the experience. Let's put it this way: my husband keeps me happy on very many levels, and he's just as considerate and unselfish as you seem to be. :)

I am not sure what you are doing talking about your wife cause what you do in your bedroom should stay there or unless you are bored. I am sure that she doesn't mind you talking about this. It is good to hear that you do take care of her because if you where not able to then maybe someone would. Have respect for her and keep it to yourself and if you are making her happy then great but maybe you really do not have anyone at all.

yes a women should have her big O first many times be for intercourse because most do need the clitoral orgasm
