Check local studio listings on www.ballroomdancers.com. Find a private studio.
Wherever you go, I advise against chains like Arthur Murray. They will make you learn dances in particular order, they will make you learn dances that you might not be interested in at all, but they will tell you it is a pre-requisite. They will tell you to sign up for a block of private lessons. Any studio that tells you to do so is after your money, not after teaching. The difference between private studio and a chain studio is like a difference between privately own restaurant and a chain restaurant. Only the dance studio makes you pay as if you were in a privately woned restaurant while not giving you much flexibility with the menue.

There are three Arthur Murray Dance studios around Detriot, they are a really great place to learn. The environment is great, the people friendly and the feeling is relaxed, while they also have a great dance program. These dance studios have been around for almost one hundred years, they know what they are doing:)
