but i noticed that there was a yellow sign..they are PCI device, PCI simple comunnications controller, and a unknown device..wen i go to sound,video and game controllers + i noticed that teh SM bus controller has a yellow sign with an exclamation mark: (!)....wat should i do!!?? i have a realtek audio thing and i have the insaller..but wen i install it , it has no sound..?!?! is it cus of the SM bus controller?? what do i do to fix this pls!! i really need help !! please!!!!

When you reformatted, you wiped out all your hardware drivers. If you don't have the disks that came with the computer, you'll have to go to the manufacturers web site and try to find the drivers.

you need to reinstall the audio drivers for your sound card. that will get rid of all the yellow exclaimation marks. you should have a driver cd that came with the computer...this has your sound drivers.

i think you didnt install your device driver for the sound card. try installing it. if you dont have the driver for your sound card try searching driverguide.com

try installing your audio driver and restart it, if still no audio, get your audio card serial code or product code/name and search the internet for specified audio driver for your audio card...
