how do you lock the pc??I tried control alt delete and does not work

there is a software that you can use called "Lock My PC" it locks your computer when you leave it unattended.
with this software u can Lock after incorrect shutdown,lock computer every time somebody boot Windows, Lock computer after certain time of inactivity.

This is the best way to make sure others can not access your computer:
1. Right click your desktop in a blank space >
select Properties >
2. In Display Properties window > select tab for Screen Saver >
3. then in frame for Screen Saver
set the time to 5 minutes > and then
put a CHECK in "On Resume Password Protect".

This will protect you from anyone getting to your desktop, even the best.
You will need your password anytime you are away from the screen over 5 minutes
and on Restart everytime...but it is a small inconvience for the peace of mind you have that others can not get to your desktop, even with the compuer "on"...so they can not even manage a "work-around" to get in.

Disable Guest,and any other user, log off.

go to control panel, user accounts, then change the way users log in and out..uncheck 'use welcome screen' and apply settings and exit......now try ctrl-alt-del
