I am traveling to London in the spring with my family and we are looking at places to stay. What can anyone tell me about the Camden Lock area? Is it quiet? Are there good places to eat? I know it is near Camden Market so that answers the "shopping" question. We will of course be traveling to central London and beyond but is it too far away from all the sights? Thanks for any help or any info about London at all!

Camden 'quiet'? Not really...
Very busy and noisy!!!
But if you're a tourist,
that's probably what you want!!!

Camden is great! it's very central
and easy to get around from there!
it's a walking distance from alot of
great places to eat and hang out
and even some sites!

I think staying there for your
visit is the right thing to do if
you want to see and feel the
real London vibe!!!

Enjoy!!!

camden is pretty nice and central, when it comes to going to see the sights, and all that.
it's also slightly north, so you get a cheaper side of london too.
lots of places to eat.
a nice atmosphere, mostly.
i wouldn't say it's quiet, but it isn't too loud, either.

St. John's Woods suits the define. this is particularly wonderful and particularly picturesque, and Regents Park is stable there. areas of Bloomsbury could desire to be defined that way, too. this is the place many writers lived, so in case you have study the define in a e book this is the single they're asserting. it is likewise the place the British Museum & UCL are placed. slightly farther far flung from the city centre is Richmond, that's somewhat leafy & non violent and form of meets that description as properly. Knightsbridge, Chelsea, and Belgravia are all particularly eye-catching aspects with parks and procuring.
